When was the Ace built?

The Ace Motor Inn was built in 1967.The first part of the facility was built and was added to in stages over the next few years. We are currently renovating our suites at the present moment giving them a modern new décor.

Do you have wheel chair access?

Yes.

What time does breakfast start?

Our restaurant is open for breakfast between 6:30 – 9:30am each Tuesday through to Friday, 7:30 – 9:30am on Saturday through to Monday. We offer a full a la carte breakfast menu.

Can you offer room service meals?

Yes, room service is available Monday through to Saturday, between 6pm and 8pm (last orders at 8pm).

Can I book a tour from the Ace Motor Inn?

Unfortunately we don’t offer a booking service however we would be pleased to provide you with all the information we can (including a selection of brochures in our reception) to help you do so. Is there WiFi available?

We do offer free WiFi available 24 hours within all rooms of the Ace Motor Inn.

Is there a spa in my room?

We have a selection of spa rooms. You may request a suite with a spa at time of booking. Additional fee applies.

Do we have a laundry?

Our guest laundry is available 24 hours with a small charge for washing machines and dryers.

What time can I check in?

Our rooms are available for you to check in at 2pm. On occasions we maybe able to check you in earlier if your room has been cleaned and is available.

What do I do if I’m late running late and will arrive after reception is closed?

Give our friendly reception staff a call prior to reception closing and they will be able to advise you where to get you key for your room.

If I have a problem out of hours, who can I contact?

We have a 24 hour number available on the front door to reception for you to call if any emergencies arise.

Are there movies in the room?

We now have 12 free Foxtel channels in the room available.

Will my room be serviced everyday?

All our rooms are serviced every second day unless a ‘do not disturb’ sign has been placed on the door. Rooms can be serviced daily if requested. We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible and reception staff are there to assist you during your stay.

I would love to buy a gift voucher, is this possible?

Yes, gift vouchers are available by contacting our reception staff. We will gladly help those looking for a birthday or anniversary gift, as a example. Our vouchers may also be a great way for companies wanting to say thankyou to their staff or clients.

The Ace Motor Inn looks ideal for my next staff event, would I be able to hold a function at the Ace?

Yes, you most certainly can. Please contact our front reception staff for more details. Alternatively, visit our Events & Weddings page on our website (coming soon).

Can I hold my wedding at the Ace?

Is there parking and is it free?

Yes we do have free parking for 1 vehicle per room. Additional parking is available onsite.

Are you pet friendly?

We currently do not allow pets.

Do you have any jobs available?

Resumes are welcomed by delivering them to our reception. We would love to hear from you if you have relevant skills, a positive and can-do attitude, good communication skills, and desire to help our guests and patrons have the best stay/visit possible. We offer positions in reception, food and beverage, maintenance and housekeeping.

Why should I choose to stay at the Ace?

We love to answer this question.  We offer a range of room options, great service, a central and easily accessible location, all the ideal conveniences including foxtel and WIFI; and our on-site restaurant has a reputation for the best seafood and steak in town.

Does my room have a balcony?

All of our rooms are ground floor and have no balcony.

How many bathrooms does my room have?

All of our rooms have one bathroom.

Can I walk into Albany?

Yes, it is approximately 2.5 kilometres into the central hub of Albany (York Street area).
